Delete your account

You can delete your Hirezard account at any time. Export the documents you want to keep first.

In the web app

1. Log in and open “Account”.
2. Choose “Delete account”.
3. Confirm the deletion. We show you when the deletion takes effect.

Without logging in

Write from your account’s email address to datenschutz@hirezard.com with the subject “Delete account”. We confirm receipt and deletion by email. If we cannot clearly match the request to your account, we will ask.

What is deleted

• Profile, uploaded documents, recognised details and sources
• CVs, cover letters, versions and exports
• Selfies and business photos
• Conversations with the AI coach
• Login data at Firebase Authentication

A running Flex subscription ends with the deletion; it will not renew. Backups expire after a fixed period. Deleted data is deleted again when a backup is restored.

What we must keep

We keep invoices and accounting records separately for 8 years after the end of the year of issue (section 14b UStG, section 147 AO). We keep proof of cancellations and withdrawals until the statutory periods expire. We use this data for nothing else.
